Kep1er’s “WA DA DA” has surpassed 100 million views on the Billboard JAPAN chart.
“WA DA DA” is the lead song of Kep1er’s first mini-album “FIRST IMPACT” released in January 2022. Dance covers became popular on TikTok, and in the first half of 2022, Billboard JAPAN TikTok Chart ranked 8th.
On the streaming song chart, it first appeared at number 26 on the public chart on January 12, 2022. The following week, it climbed to 10th place and remained in the top 10 for 4 consecutive weeks. This breakthrough of 100 million views is achieved in the 31st week of entering the chart.
This song is the first Kep1er song to surpass 100 million views. Also, as a K-POP group, it will be the third group following BTS and TWICE. Kep1er will release their Japanese debut single “FLY-UP” on September 7th.
