On August 5th, the eight members of Girls’ Generation attended a press conference to release their 7th full-length album, ‘FOREVER 1’.

Today, Girls’ Generation revealed their first comeback as a group in 5 years, which is the future direction of the group as well as KWANGYA’s ideas.

First, Leader Taeyeon revealed the future of the Girls’ Generation, “Now there is little time to think about the past or the future. The present is so important to us that we do not yet have a chance for the future. “Hopefully, everyone enjoys this comeback. And building on what we have learned and experienced through this comeback, we will continue to decide on the future of Girls’ Generation.”

-Leader Taeyeon

Taeyeon also explained the concept of the Girls’ Generation in the world of KWANGYA. “Every SM artist has their own story. The concept of Girls’ Generation is’ The Goddesses of Sound,’ but since there are some of us in different agencies, not everyone might know,” The story is still in the development process, and so we also need more time to grasp it.”

-Leader Taeyeon

How did Girls’ Generation shoot together for the first time since ‘Holiday Night’? YoonA shared, “There was a song called ‘Lucky Like That.’ It was the first song we recorded, and I was the last member to record it. In the recording booth, I listened to recordings by other members. “When I first heard your voice for a while, I cried. I want our fans to hear it as soon as possible.”
