According to YG Entertainment, on the 20th, BLACKPINK’s ‘Pink Venom,’ released at 1 pm (Korean time) the day before, climbed to the top of the iTunes Worldwide Song Chart. It shows the distribution of popularity evenly across four continents, North and South America, Europe, Asia, and Oceania. It is the result of taking the top spot in 69 regions.
It also swept the domestic music charts. As soon as ‘Pink Venom’ was released, it went straight to number 1 on Bugs, Vibe, and Genie. In the Melon Top 100, it entered a third place in an hour and drew attention.
In addition, the music video for ‘Pink Venom’ surpassed 70 million views within 15 hours of its release, showing a faster increase than ‘How You Like That.’
